A special interview...

Hello friends!

As you know, I'm a big fan of tools for thought—apps, systems, and mental models that help you think better, be more productive, and more creative.

In a previous article about note-taking apps, I explored how some of us are architects, others are gardeners, and yet others are librarians. For the architects out there, I have a treat for you: an exclusive interview with Ivan Zhao, the co-founder of Notion!

To say that Notion is a popular tool would be an understatement: last year, they reached more than 4 million users. Some use Notion with their teams, others as solo players. Scroll down to read the interview.

This week, I also want to talk about mental health. Many of you told me they were currently battling with burnout. In such an anxiety-inducing context, it's nothing surprising.

To help you identify areas where you could make some positive changes, I put together a short list of mindful productivity questions you can use in your next self-reflection session.

Finally, I published a new video about a creative burnout, a particular type of burnout around creative work. It includes signs to watch out for and some tips you can use to get better. Enjoy!

p.s. loving the love :)

Edition #225 – April 25th, 2024A newsletter by Anne-Laure Le Cunff READ ON THE WEB Hello friends, I’m writing this edition from a coffee shop in New York. I lived here for six months when I was 21, and being here is bringing back lots of memories. It was while I was in New York that I interviewed for a job at Google. I remember how I felt at the time: me, getting a job at Google – imagine that! Since then, I have learned that impressive job titles and company brands do not equate with...

Edition #223 – April 11th, 2024A newsletter by Anne-Laure Le Cunff READ ON THE WEB Hello friends, When I was a student in Japan, I remember noticing how busy everybody looked. Commuters rushing to catch their trains, workers quickly eating their lunches at noodle shops before hurrying back to the office, and a quiet intensity in libraries and study halls. I‘ve never experienced this level of societal busyness again, but things aren’t that far from this picture for many of us. We’re so busy...
